Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solutions Architect to join our team for a long-term contract position. This role is critical in driving the development and implementation of data solutions within the Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, architecting, and implementing scalable data solutions, with a deep understanding of the Life Sciences industry. This position requires proximity to San Francisco, CA, as local candidates will be prioritized.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering, with at least 3+ years in a similar role within the Life Sciences domain.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data architecture, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Expertise in database design, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Strong experience with big data tools and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
- Experience with data modeling, and data governance in a highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with Life Sciences industry-specific data standards, such as CDISC, HL7, or other health-related data formats.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in data architecture, cloud technologies, or Life Sciences (optional but a plus).
